The elegance of Laguiole’s original line allows Laguiole En Aubrac cutlers multiple variations. The blades are made of ultra strong 12C27 Sandvik Stainless Steel with a thickness of 3mm. 12C27 is a martensitic stainless chromium steel. The composition of carbon and chromium gives a unique combination of properties including: very high hardness, very high wear resistance and corrosion resistant. All knives are individually hardened by hand; shaping and fitting are done by hand to the craftsman’s eye. Each knife is assembled from start to finish in one sequence and by a single artifice.
