These are works of art. They are beautiful and have already started conversations. I even received a personal call from a nice lady with a French accent to confirm my order, as I got several other knives to build a kitchen set. You might go down some rabbit hole of Japanese vs German steel and how hard it all is, but ask yourself how often you cook and how hard it is to scrape a knife on a honing edge 2 or 3 times every few months, and then buy the knives that tell a story. These are amazing!

They are lovely but there is a mark on one blade from the sticky label. I got everything off but you can see where it was.
