A masterpiece of French craftsmanship, the Laguiole en Aubrac Origine Tour Eiffel is a hand-crafted folding knife born in the historic birthplace of the Laguiole knife, the Aubrac region of France. Celebrating the cultural heritage of Paris, this edition pairs a blackened carbon steel blade with a full handle of rare Morta wood, a darker, more rugged tribute to the timeless elegance of the French capital.

Steel Born from an Icon

  • Eiffel Tower steel spring: The spring, which forms the spine of the knife, is forged from steel sourced directly from the iconic staircases of the Eiffel Tower, making every piece a genuine fragment of Parisian history.
  • Blackened carbon steel blade: Carbon steel takes a razor-sharp edge and is easy to resharpen. Its blackened finish gives the blade a deep, smoky tone that will develop its own patina with use.
  • Hand-hammered blade back: Forge marks along the back of the blade show the hand of the cutler.
  • Blade length: 4.75 in (12 cm)
  • Weight: 2.71 oz (76.9 g)

A Limited Edition of Only 2,000 Pieces

Exclusivity is at the heart of this collection. Only 2,000 numbered units will ever be produced, each individually numbered on the blade, making yours a truly unique and collectible work of art.

Curated Materials, Unmatched Character

The handle is crafted from Morta, one of the rarest woods used in knifemaking. Morta is oak that lay buried in peat bogs for thousands of years, where it slowly darkened to deep brown and near-black tones. As with all natural materials, each handle is entirely unique.

Handcrafted from Start to Finish

Each Laguiole en Aubrac folding knife is entrusted to a single master artisan, who oversees the entire creation process from beginning to end. Every detail reflects the highest standards of Laguiole en Aubrac:

  • Full Morta handle: With no bolsters, the Morta runs uninterrupted from end to end, set with a shepherd’s cross on the front side.
  • Engraved Eiffel Tower steel spring: The spring is engraved with a flowing scroll pattern inspired by the arches of the Eiffel Tower.
  • French tricolor liners: Fine blue, white and red liners frame the spine on both sides, a nod to the knife’s French heritage.

The Iconic Iron Lady Medallion

The traditional Laguiole bee has been reimagined as an oval Iron Lady medallion. The Eiffel Tower stands at its center, with “PARIS” circling the rim. It’s a symbol of Parisian elegance reborn in steel, exclusive to this limited edition.

Proudly Made in France

Crafted in Espalion, the historic village at the heart of Laguiole knife-making, in the Aubrac region of France. Each folding knife comes with a Certificate of Authenticity, honoring the heritage and savoir-faire of French knife-making.

Care

  • Hand wash and dry immediately; never put it in the dishwasher.
  • Wipe a thin film of oil on the blade before storing, since carbon steel can rust if left damp.
  • Avoid prolonged soaking, which can damage the wood handle.
